Crystal-Clear®
Crystal-Clear® is a pure, nonreactive synthetic white compressor oil that provides excellent anti-wear protection and high performance across a wide temperature range. It delivers excellent rust and corrosion protection and will not poison catalysts downstream of the compressor. It meets the requirements of white mineral oils while providing the superior lubrication and service life of a synthetic oil.
Crystal-Clear resists dilution by process gases, helping prevent compressor and packing gland wear. It is a superior lubricant for compressors handling inert and reactive gases such as hydrogen, hydrogen chloride, sulfur dioxide, nitrogen, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and helium. It also excels in compressors and hyper compressors handling hydrocarbon gases such as ethylene, methane, ethane, acetylene, propylene, and LPG (propane/butane mixtures).
Crystal-Clear’s formulation combines premium synthetic base oils with proprietary Purolec™ additive technology to deliver outstanding anti-wear performance, rust and corrosion protection, and resistance to oxidation and heat degradation.
Crystal-Clear’s high viscosity index, thermal stability, low coefficient of friction, and high specific heat capacity enable it to outperform white mineral oils over an extremely wide temperature range. It is recommended to replace white mineral oil in applications where improved service life and equipment reliability are required. Using Crystal-Clear saves money, minimizes inventory, reduces maintenance, improves equipment efficiency, and extends equipment life. Crystal-Clear is an undyed product.
