CAP™ 700/460
CAP Compressor Lubricant is a premium synthetic lubricant engineered for cylinders and packing glands in gas compressors, including reinjection and other high-pressure units. It forms a durable oil film on metal, ceramic, or glass surfaces that resists shear, water vapor, and hydrocarbon gases while providing excellent elasto hydrodynamic protection against wear.
Its dense molecular structure prevents dilution under high pressure, maintaining viscosity and preventing oil carryover. Strong adhesion allows piston rings to ride on a consistent film, minimizing gas blowby and extending compressor life, while corrosion inhibitors protect against hydrogen sulfide, wet carbon dioxide, and other acids.
Because of these properties, injection feed rates can be reduced, improving downstream cleanliness and limiting equipment fouling.
